First Congregational Church of Pasadena

First Congregational Church of Pasadena, UCC Pasadena Area Women’s Scholarship is available annually in the amount of $7500.00 or more for people who identify as female and who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll by Fall 2026 in a college or trade/technical school. We have awarded 54 scholarships since 2016 and this will be our 11th year of awarding scholarships! Our selection process is guided by our Core Values of: Nurturing Spirituality, Extravagant Welcome and Social Justice. Our Vision statement expands upon that to embody God’s love for all by celebrating diversity in race, age, gender, sexual orientation and physical ability. We also endeavor to serve the marginalized and educationally underserved in the greater Pasadena area. These values and vision will continue to guide our selection process. In addition, we will award at least one scholarship to a woman whose life has been impacted by the Eaton Fire. Applications for 2026 can be filled out directly through the church website http://www.uccpasadena.org or mailed directly to the church. Completed applications must be returned no later than March 31, 2026 at 10:00 pm either by mail or directly through our website.
