Italian American Study Abroad Scholarships

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY STUDENTS WHO ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE FALL STUDY ABROAD TRIP IN FLORENCE SHOULD APPLY TO THIS OPPORTUNITY

There are two scholarship opportunities available for this program: *The Italian American Scholarship and the Dr. Tony and Clara Potes Fellow Scholarship. *

Dr. Tony Fellow and Clara Potes-Fellow created this scholarship to support students studying abroad in Florence. To qualify for the study abroad program, students must be accepted to the Fall Study Abroad Trip to Florence.

• Enrollment in PCC’s Florence Study Abroad Program
• Financial Need
• 2.5 minimum overall GPA

Special Requirement for the Fellow Scholarship
Recipients will complete a digital media project related to their study abroad experience. The PCC Study Abroad Coordinator must approve the project before departure. While abroad, the recipient will maintain contact with their project supervisor and will work to complete deliverables by scheduled deadlines. PCC Study Abroad may use the recipient’s project and content for educational and promotional purposes.

The Italian American Scholarship Fund offers scholarships for PCC students studying Italian who are participating in the Fall Study Abroad Program in Florence. To qualify for the study abroad program, you must have completed an Italian language course at Pasadena College.

To successfully qualify for this scholarship, YOU MUST APPLY TO THE FALL STUDY ABROAD TRIP TO FLORENCE. Only accepted students will be eligible to receive this scholarship, which is paid in Fall 2025 before departure.
