Mei-Ling Cheng Tutor Award

*History *
Mei-Ling Cheng was a beloved technician in the Math Success Center for over thirty years. Upon her passing, the Mathematics Division set up this scholarship for graduating tutors of the Mathematics Division to share the love and passion Mei-Ling brought to tutoring and helping students.

*Award *
This scholarship will be awarded to a student that has been employed by the Math Success Center or the CAS Center as a tutor for a minimum of two semesters that is transferring to a four-year institution in a STEM field.

*Requirements *
1. Student will be transferring to a four-year institution in the Fall.
2. Student worked as a tutor at the Math Success Center and/or the CAS Center for a minimum of two semesters.
3. Submit your PCC transcript (official or unofficial is fine).
4. Submit an essay describing how tutoring in the Math Success Center and/or the CAS Center has affected your path here at PCC and how you see this experience impacting your future.
