CA LGBTQ Foundation Scholarship

The CA LGBTQ Foundation Scholarship was established to help LGBTQ+ Californians achieve their dreams through higher education.

ELIGIBILTY

Scholarship Awards
14 – $5,000 one-time scholarships
1 – $10,000 one-time scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
All California residents may apply and will be considered.
Applicants must be enrolled full time (12 units) in an accredited California college for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants may be undergraduate, graduate, or PhD students.
Applicants may be incoming or continuing students.
Eligible students must identify within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer (LGBTQ+) community.
Applicants must submit the following items:
Completed Application
Resume
Transcript
2 Letters of Recommendation
Copy of Acceptance Letter/Enrollment Verification Letter
Additionally, Applicants must submit:
Both of the following:
1–2 page paper or short video (2-5 min) of you explaining what the future of the LGBTQ+ Community looks like to you.
and
A short video (2-5 min) discussing a project you have worked on or would like to work on that moves us closer to the future of the LGBTQ+ community you have envisioned.
