Mei-Ling Cheng Tutor Award

*History *
Mei-Ling Cheng was a beloved technician in the Math Success Center for over thirty years. Upon her passing, the Math Department set up this scholarship for graduating tutors of the MSC to share the love and passion Mei-Ling brought to the MSC.

*Award *
This scholarship will be awarded to a student that has been employed by the MSC (or the CAS Center) as a tutor for a minimum of two semesters that is transferring to a four-year institution in a STEM field.

*Requirements *
1. Student will be transferring to a four-year institution in the Fall.
2. A GPA of at least 3.0 at PCC.
3. A GPA of at least 3.5 in all mathematics courses taken at PCC.
4. Worked as a tutor at the MSC for a minimum of two semesters.
5. Submit an essay describing how tutoring in the MSC has affected your path here at PCC and how you see this experience impacting your future.
