The Olsen Award for Mathematics

The William Olsen Award
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be transferring to a four year institution in the Fall with the possible goal of teaching mathematics.

Requirements for the William Olsen Award:
1. Student will be transferring to a four-year institution in the Fall
2. A GPA of at least 3.0 at PCC
3. A GPA of at least 3.0 in all mathematics courses taken at PCC
4. Completion of Math 5A, 5B, and 5C with a grade of at least a B in each course.
5. Submit an autobiography with a potential career goal of teaching mathematics.
