PCC Student Volunteerism Scholarships
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in at least 6 units
- Have completed a minimum of 9 units at PCC
- Have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5
- Display outstanding volunteer involvement within the Pasadena City College Campus Community (this does not include off-campus volunteer experience)

- Please provide a short narrative on your Student Volunteer Career at Pasadena City College. Include details on 2-3 of the most impactful experiences including the Name of the Organization providing volunteer experience (club, class, etc.), the Mission of the Organization, the Name of the Organization, Office, Event, etc., BENEFITTING from your volunteer experience, Number of years involved, and Positions held.
- Essay Question: The National Alliance on Mental Illness published a study on the benefits of volunteerism: Reducing Stress, Increasing Happiness, Developing Confidence, and Finding Purpose. Describe how your volunteer experience at PCC has specifically contributed to one or more of these four benefits. Please cite specific examples as well as lessons learned.
