Lancers for Life Ambassador Team

The Pasadena City College Foundation is seeking current students who want to be part of the Lancers for Life Ambassador Team. These students will participate in the following functions as a volunteer:
1. The PCC Flea Market (1st Sunday of every month from February through August 2024)
2. PCC Foundation on and off-campus events

Required Qualifications are as follows:
1. Must be a currently enrolled student
2. Must be available to volunteer the 1st Sunday of the month beginning September 2024 through August 2025
3. Must be available to attend a group interview on Monday, August 26th (afternoon or evening) AND in-person training on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 9am-3pm
4. Ambassadors must have a strong work ethic and the desire to work with others in a volunteer capacity
5. Ambassadors must have a 2.00 cumulative GPA and not currently on any academic probation (incoming first year students must have a 2.50 GPA from their high school)

Desired Qualifications include the following:
1. Be a scholarship recipient at Pasadena City College
2. Have verifiable leadership or volunteer experience on campus
3. Have previously attended a PCC Flea Market

Benefits include the following:
1. Lancer for Life apparel and swag to wear at Flea Market and other events
2. Leadership, Volunteer, and Philanthropy Training from the Foundation and Flea Market Staff
3. Meals and Perks on Flea Market and event days
4. A $1000 scholarship upon the completion of the last market for the cycle (August 2025) – that scholarship can be transferrable if the student ambassador is graduating

Typical Volunteer Assignments require you to be on your feet for long periods of time. You may handle boxes, trash, and other event-related materials (signage, programs, etc.). You will always be participating in the setup or tear of the event for which you work.
