Krost CPA's-KBKG Black Student Success Scholarship Fund
The Krost CPAs-KBKG, Inc Black Student Success Scholarship Fund was established in December 2020 to formally partner with Ujima, Blackademia, and the PCC Foundation to empower underrepresented students and support their education, mentorship, training, and career development in professions relating to accounting, business and broader fields in financial services opportunities.
To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- 2.50 GPA
- Enrolled in at least 6 units during Spring 2025
- Plan to graduate/complete your program at PCC by Spring 2025
- Participate in one of the PCC empowerment groups: ASCEND, Ujima, Black STEM, or Blackademia
- Have declared one of the following as your major at PCC: Accounting, Architecture AA, Architecture/Environmental Design, Banking and Finance, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Engineering and Technology AA, Mathematical Sciences or Mathematics AS-T.

- The students who are awarded this scholarship will also be expected to participate in an internship at KROST/KBKG in the Summer after awarding. Please acknowledge that you accept this qualification by typing "I understand." below.
- Please write an essay of at least 500 words, outlining the following: 1. The student’s dream for education and professional development; 2. The current challenges that the student is facing that are interfering with the student’s ability to realize their dream; 3. If the student is selected for the scholarship, will this measurably contribute to the student achieving their goal/dream? Discuss how, or otherwise comment.
